gamle Stefan opened its doors for the first time 6.11 2013. The café continues the traditional café and shop activity that was introduced by Stefan's café on the very same location already 1996. The café is run by Tove Lindroos, who before this worked for three years as a café assistant at Stefan's café. Tove has a long career in the nutritional line with e.g. more than ten years of work at m/s J.L. Runeberg, mostly as the ships cook. At gamle Stefan you can enjoy, together with a tasty cup of coffee or tee, fresh patisserie, sweet buns, cakes or bread from local bakeries. At the café you can also get open faced sandwiches and savory filled rolls, as well as sweet or savory pies. All this you can enjoy in the cosy atmosphere of the café or on our summer terrace.
